How to get and use contract renewal days

I wanted to clarify how you can obtain additional contract renewal days for free and how to use them on your players.
First, let's start with what the different ways in which you can obtain them are. The Renewal days can be obtained in the following ways:
- Tournaments
- Special competitions (All-Star Week, St. Patrick’s, Conference Finals, etc.)
- New Renewal job
- Daily Bonus (random)
Once you've obtained the renewal days, you'll most likely wonder how you can use them to add more days to your players' contract. In this video, we show you exactly how you can do that:

Hi Brino,
Thank you for the explanation. However, you do not mention the possibility to obtain contract days by auction/buy now. Is this option not implemented yet?
For me, the screen as shown in the explanation video - displaying contract negotions for Randle, Parker & Young - still has no results for me. I am on WoF and have James, Westbrook, Harden, Drummond in my roster. So far they never showed up for me.

Hi @Leslie,
In those cases, instead of bidding for the player on the next planet, you're bidding to extend the contract a certain amount of days. That is shown whenever you make the bid. You'll see how many days you can extend the contract there. You can have a max of 120 days on any contract.

Hi @EJ Lee,
Yes, you can renew the contracts with cash or coins depending on the offer shown by the players' agent. If you go to where the Auctions and Buy now sections are, you'll see another tab called "Renewals". Once your players' contract drops below a certain number, you'll receive a notification telling you that you have player contracts to renew. In that moment, you'll be able to do it. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Are you serious???? That’s a real scam then.
Let’s say I bought Anthony Davis for 50M in WOF Planet. He’s level 1 (cause I didn’t have him on Master Planet). Then I improved him to level 40 for another 50M. His contract ends. At which level will he be on Master Planet?
And if I have to buy him again, at which level will he be on WOF Planet the second time I buy him? Level 1 again???? -
Let me get this right. All the time and money spent on the WOF Planet are just thrown away if the contract ends. And you act like if nothing happened before, forcing the players to spend even more money than before. That’s such a scam!!!
Thus you said it was the last Planet and we believed the planet system would be over. But FTB actually introduced a never-ending Planet acting as the whole system planet itself. Congrats!! Very clever.
The lure of gain is really too strong, the greed of FTB is limitless!
But we have to recognize something, FTB is unmatched when it comes to kill a game! -

Yes it killed the game, does not make any sense and just kills all the fun of upgrading players.
At the moment I am developing 5 players to WoF. Thats all I can renew without having to spend coins or money. After that I will decide what to do but I think I will remove the game from my smartphone if FTB changes nothing about the WoF.

Since I am new to the game and still on the Beginner planet I already cannot wait to get to this planet and I hope that the system results in losing top players for teams due to the reason that this makes it more realistic. I see team with 10-20 players in their roster who are absolutely the top 10-20 players in the league. In my opinion this is not realistic at all (and I would like to see the finals players set back to normal numbers, cause at the moment for some team its enough to have Lebron on a good level and they beat easily anyone).
Realisticly you cannot own all these players (except if you are GSW, but that will not stay like that for long). So thanks FTB, and don't take this wining and crying from some members as a good example. How is that fair that you have 30 top players?
Though I would love to have feature such as setting role players and rotation, minutes distribution and points calculated by that, and not fixed for bench players for example.
If you introduce that and limit more top player in one team, then you are on a good way to have this game as the only game I play on my phone.

Welcome to the game and to the forum! Don't worry, the finals players are going to go back to their Season Average value on August 1st, so all will be back to normal then.
In any case, here in the forum, we have different threads for different topics, for example, Suggestions, General Questions, General Discussions and Bugs & Technical Issues (the last one to report bugs and technical issues you're experiencing). You can find these threads here on the main page.
What do you mean exactly by not having the top 30 players? Can you please clarify that when you have a moment in the "General Questions" thread, since this one is for a specific topic that's unrelated to what you're writing about?

Contract days are overkill! There are not enough options to acquire these contract days to keep the valuable players that you own. And I also think that this is too much because when you acquire a player for 50mil and your investing about another 50mil in upgrades to that person and at the end of the upgrade period you’ll probably loose that player due to “contract days”. This is way too much FTB staff! You already got the ppl to play the game and some that invest their personal finances (like myself) to buy the packages that you come out with on the weekends, special holiday times, and things offered in the store. You need to reconsider this because your probably more than likely going to loose a lot of people to this change I know if this doesn’t change in the next month I’ll be deleting this app and taking my business elsewhere.

Hi @MIKE S -- Please keep in mind that the decisions are made by a specific team in the company. We understand your frustrations, but there is only so much we can do in our department. We could also not share it with the team, however, that would not make sense, since the idea is sharing your comments and concerns with the attempt to continue improving the game, which is what we want to do. If you have any questions, you can let us know from within the game in "More > Support", or in the "General Questions" thread.

It's a shame: us, the managers, we are given crumbles to obtain renewal contract days using the features of the game: every day, maximum of only 3 days completing tournaments (numbers 9, 19 and 29 of the 45 lot) and only 3 completing tasks....
Oh I forgot... maybe, just maybe, renewal days as day bonus.

Contract renewal days are out of hand. You get maybe 1 or 2 in a 12 hour period just to give to 1 person on your roster of 10. I know you can acquire more through special tournaments but just think about the person that just entered the top world. They wouldn’t be able to get these contact renewal days because their team totals aren’t strong enough. So they are struggling to maintain their team with just 1 or 2 contract renewal days a day. This decision doesn’t make a bit of sense! But, when I think about this it makes me wonder if this is a ploy for FTB to make money? It most definitely is because when my legends contract days are dwindling down FTB just so happens to send me a “Legends Package” to purchase with my money just to give me either 30 or 60 days on their contract and some other things to help me through the game. So, my question is answered! FTB is being very greedy and won’t drop contact renewal days out of pure greed. This is pretty sad.
