PLANET POINT ADJUSTMENTS
Pinned POINT ADJUSTMENTS
NBA General Manager is preparing for new updates ahead of the summer. So that the update is as dynamic and balanced as possible, we’ve decided to make some point adjustments to ensure balanced planets.
The player values will be composed of the following:
- Their performance in real life games
- Planet Bonus
- Player Level
- Power ups
With this adjustment, you’ll see a change in the bonus received on Planets Silver, Gold and Platinum. The changes will be as follows:
SILVER PLANET
GOLD PLANET
PLATINUM PLANET
DIAMOND PLANET
With these adjustments, we’re looking to ensure that the players will be more prepared for future NBA General Manager updates.
Follow our social network pages to stay up-to-date on all new updates!
Good luck!

And what about the Master Planet? And the bunch of promises at the beginning of the season? The game is the same boring thing for almost a year. The planet system is a loop. Nothing new. Zero innovation. There is nothing excitement about this game anymore.
You have zero interest to keep the old players and even less respect for us. This is a really bad joke!

Hi @Roberto and @Gcalsing,
The point adjustments aren't being made on all planets, and you'll see why very soon. The new updates that we mentioned before will be added in our next versions. We're working to release the next one at the start of next week, although we cannot confirm the exact date or time.
@James,
In our next version (I talk about the release in the comment above), we've included other bug fixes as well as new updates, so don't worry about that.
Let me know if you have any additional questions,

Hi @Angelo,
Our intention is always to fix as many bugs as possible when releasing a new version. We're going to do everything we can.
Whenever there's a new planet, you'll need to sign their new version to continue upgrading their levels, however, I can't give more information at this time since we haven't released the new version yet.
@Ben02,Correct, there will be 1 new planet added into the game, but I can't give more information at this time since we haven't yet released the new version.
If you guys have any additional questions, please let me know.

Hi @Sarunas,
Please ensure that you update to the latest 4.30.011 version that we released afterwards to fix those issues.
For technical issues, please send them in our "Bugs & Technical Issues" thread so we can keep everything organized. Thanks,

Gcalsing said it correctly, this is a joke. Congrats you guys have found a way to try and get us to spend even more $$$. So now on the new planet, we have to "renew" to keep players every 90-120 days? Are you kidding! So now all the time I spend updating and improving the players , but at least I have them for unlimited time. Now you want us to keep spending to keep the players we have improved. You force us to spend to keep the players we have allready improved! This is a complete joke. Either I will just stay on the master planet or I will just quit. I have zero incentive to continue this merry go round if constantly "keeping players". You should have kept the old system.
-
I don't think that the player levels get lost, I hope I understood it correctly. You just have to renew the players to remain WoF players instead of Master Planet players. So its just about double value or not.
I hope I am right. If I have to level up my players forever I will remain on the Master Planet.
-
You will have to buy them again, Brino already said that. But when you have them on Level 65 on WoF, thats it. You just have to renew them sometimes. And the renew days can be "won" with tasks and tournaments. I dont think we have to spend money on that.
Thats how I understood the news and I hope I am right. I just have enough of upgrading players, I hoped they would add some tactical features like in real manager games. Thr game should be developed in that direction in my opinion.
-
Okay now that I read everything again, I think you are right. We have to bid for them every 3 months again or buy them as limited editions. Thats really a joke. We will never be able to hold all the players on WoF Level without spending money.
I hope the players wont lose the added levels when losing the WoF Status.
-
I think it all depends on the price the players will reach on biding. If they go to 60 - 80 mil. for LBJ, then only few GM will bid. The good thing, as I understand it, is that Master planet players stay as they are. We will also see the rate at which we can generate additional dates through tournaments, etc.
I know we all want everything to be perfect, but we also need to remember this game costs a lot of money to develop, maintain, pay licences to real players, etc., so it is alright if the FTB crew want to make money on their game. Having said that, there are a lot of room to improve gameplay, and when this happens more people will pay more money, including me, but until that happens I won't. :)

A me ragazzi questo nuovo sistema mi intriga parecchio invece... Comunque ragazzi buon divertimento a tutti!

Hi Brino,
One question for you:
Let say I have a WoF lv. 51 Lebron James and I don’t renew his contract... He gets back to his master planet level.
But... Once I get him back, does he go back to the lv. 51 or he’ll be at lv. 1?
Thanks! The new stuff seems to be a little bit frustrating but maybe the game is going to be more interesting.
Maybe we’ll not see/have all perfect teams... always with the same top-players at their best level.

Hi @Angelo, @YZERMN and @EJ Lee,
I believe that you guys have understood everything correctly. The way it works is that, this new planet is supposed to be a way for you to continue renewing your players' contracts, in order to keep them in top shape.
If you're unable to renew your player's contract in time, then he will move down to the previous planet (maintaining his level), and you will have to sign him again on the World of Fame planet, and the players would then merge again like normal.
So, using @EJ Lee's example, If you have Lebron James at level 51 on the WoF planet, and you don't renew his contract, he will then move down to the previous planet but at the same level (51). Once you sign him back, he will merge as usual and he will be at level 13.
Keep in mind, though, that renewing your players isn't necessarily an auction unless you're trying to sign a player you don't have. There will be an option to renew your players directly for cash or coins, but you won't have to make bids against other users for that.
If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

Hi @Brino,
wow that's heavy. So we are forced to renew all our players every 3 months to maintain the levels? It will be nearly impossible to renew 40-50 players every three months. How many coins will we need to renew a player?
What about players like Kareem or Barkley, will they be renewable?
-
Ok, thank you Brino.
Well, you said...”...if you don't renew his contract, he will then move down to the previous planet but at the same level (51).”
Even if our Lebron James is now at lv 65...Wow, that’s severe.
@Angelo, I don’t think you need 40-50 players anymore ;) maybe just 15 in the right moments
-
Like I said nothing but another $$$ grab. Imagine your 51 level Lebrun contract is up....you are forced to renew because of all the resources you have spent to get him to level 51. If you do not renew until later he will drop to level 13! So of course you will "renew".
So instead of putting all the resources into a player bug at least getting to keep him, we are now "renting players". The game can spin it as the new innovation with the update, but all this is a money grab. They had to cone up with a new way of keeping top players to continue to spend. Congrats you guys have found a way. Imagine what the cost will be of renewing let's say a roster of 10-12 players! Players you have brought up to top levels. But players you can only have for 2-3 months. -
@ Brino
Let's say I have LBJ at lvl 65 at master planet. If I get him at WoF planet he will then be lvl 65 + 20 (don't know what lvl we get for 65 from previous planet).
Do we then improve player lvl on WoF (21, 22, etc)?
What happens if we update player on WoF and we are not able to keep it, then after a while we sign him again, will he lose previous improvements or will we be able to continue improving when we get him back?

Dear fellow managers, the “new world” is not the only thing to complain about....this new support platform, for example, changed just the name a few months ago but it’s as inefficient as before. As of now, the ‘one man support’, seems not to be on duty this Friday and we know the weekend Brino is off duty. I don’t even want to put the blame on Brino...I want to bias both the administrators of game and of this blog, those who allow the support to rely just on one person only!
-
Hi @Angelo,
All players can be renewed, and you should be able to renew them for cash and coins, and you can also earn renewal days with jobs when available. I understand your concerns and I'm sharing them all with the team so that they can take it into account.
@Roberto,You know that I am in the forum every day. Maybe one day I'm unable to make it into the forum, however, you also know that you can contact our general Support team from within the game in "More > Support". I believe you have done that on different occasions and we've helped you as quickly as possible. We cannot always reply instantly, however, we work to assist you and all users in the quickest way possible.
@Sandro,There are no changes being made to those rewards for the World of Fame planet.
@EJ Lee and @DNK,If you have Lebron at level 65 on the World of Fame planet, and you don't renew his contract, he'll move down to Platinum at level 65, but when you sign him again on World of Fame, he'll merge just like the other times you sign a player from the next planet.
So, if you sign him again at level 20, should have 20 (since you signed him at level 20) +17 (additional levels that we reward you with) = 37.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
